Dates and where

Sculpture by the Sea runs from Friday 16 October to Monday 2 November 2026, its 30th year at Bondi. About 100 sculptures by artists from Australia and overseas line the 2km coastal walk between Bondi Beach and Tamarama.

It's free. The organisers ask for a voluntary contribution of $5 per person or $10 per family, which goes to the artists and the staging of the show. Official site

Getting there

Around 450,000 people are expected over the 18 days, according to Transport for NSW. The walk has two ends: start at Notts Avenue at the Bondi end, or near Pacific Avenue at the Tamarama end.

Trains run to Bondi Junction on the T4 Eastern Suburbs Line, with buses on to the beach. Extra services run during the exhibition.
