Saturday 17 October to Sunday 18 October 2026.

Use this page to put a Bondi weekend together from the published event details and recurring local fixtures. The date above follows the current weekend in Sydney. The selection below includes only listings checked for that week. A recurring market timetable is shown separately so you can tell the difference between a dated event and the usual weekly schedule.
Published picks for this weekend
Sculpture by the Sea opens
Friday 16 October to Monday 2 November; outdoor exhibition. Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk. Free.
The coastal exhibition returns across the walk between the two beaches. Our guide collects the official dates, transport links and access information in one place. Opening day begins an exhibition that continues beyond this weekend, so check the full date range when making plans.
Bondi Farmers Market
Saturday 17 October, 9am to 1pm. Bondi Beach Public School, Campbell Parade and Warners Avenue. Check with venue.
Saturday is the food-focused market at the school, with growers, bakers and food sellers. It finishes at lunchtime. The organiser's page has the current visitor information and stallholder details; this is a separate weekly market from the Sunday edition at the same address.
ARTEXPRESS at Bondi Pavilion
Daily, 10am to 5pm, until Sunday 25 October. Art Gallery, Bondi Pavilion. Free.
The gallery presents selected works from the 2025 HSC Visual Arts cohort. The exhibition includes a range of forms, from painting and photography to sculpture and textiles. It offers an indoor art stop during the week or alongside the outdoor exhibition over the weekend.
Bondi Markets
Sunday 18 October, 10am to 4pm. Bondi Beach Public School, Campbell Parade and Warners Avenue. Check with venue.
Sunday's market brings fashion, jewellery, art, homewares and food to the school grounds. It starts an hour later than Saturday's farmers market and continues into the afternoon. Follow the market page for visitor questions and any organiser updates before your visit.
The regular Saturday and Sunday markets
Bondi Farmers Market publishes Saturday hours of 9am to 1pm. Bondi Markets publishes Sunday hours of 10am to 4pm. Both use Bondi Beach Public School on Campbell Parade at Warners Avenue. The Saturday edition is food-focused, while Sunday's range includes fashion, art and homewares. These are the usual schedules checked on 12 October, rather than a fresh confirmation of this weekend's operation.
Our market guide links both official visitor pages and explains their different hours. If a particular seller or purchase is the reason for going, check directly with the stallholder. A market-wide listing describes the general event and does not confirm every business or item that will appear on a given day.
Check the dates before sharing a plan
A multi-day exhibition can span several weekends. Read its final date as well as the opening date, and check whether a talk or performance needs its own booking. A free exhibition does not automatically make every associated activity free or unreserved. Each listing's source link goes back to the organiser, where availability and updated arrangements should be checked.
For a group visit, share the actual event link alongside your meeting time. Include the venue or landmark, particularly for events spread along the coast. A plan to meet at a named gallery is more precise than one to meet somewhere in Bondi. Keep the booking confirmation if the organiser issues one and use its instructions for arrival.
Make room for a running group
If a run is part of your plans, start with the run club guide and read the club's current instructions. The groups listed there have their own schedules and meeting arrangements. A Friday morning run is separate from the Saturday and Sunday selection, so check the weekday before treating it as part of a weekend itinerary.
The Thursday issue
The first Thursday issue is scheduled for 15 October. Published issues will appear in the archive. The newsletter and archive keep an issue's original dates so a link shared later still makes sense. Use this page when you need the current weekend date, and use the issue page when you want that particular edition.
Send event corrections through the tips page with the organiser's link and the detail that changed. Dates, prices and session times are checked against the source rather than inferred from an old listing. Subscribe below for the weekly selection once it is ready to send.
